It is estimated that only 4% of todays students will become Christ followers.  Eric is committed to doing all he can to change this statistic.  Eric believes that student ministry is critical because today's young people will be tomorrow's leaders.  We must have passionate Christ followers to spread the gospel and lead this world from death into life in Christ. 

Eric committed his life to the Lord at 20 years of age.  He has been involved with student ministry at Coinjock Baptist Church since 1999.  He assumed leadership of the ministry in 2003.  His heart is to empower young people to become passionate Christ followers who are committed to changing the world. 

Eric is married to Cameron and they have two beautiful daughters, Ashton and Cayden.

Little known facts about Eric: 

• He still wears the shorts he had in junior high. 
• He will spread peanut butter on just about anything edible (and if he's desperate, some things that aren't).
• He once got a screw stuck up his nose that has never been found (try sticking a magnet to his head).
• He spent five years in prison (ministry, that is).
• He's been photographed in a feather boa and dangle earrings (at the request of his daughters).
• He loves student ministry!!
