Coinjock Baptist Church

To see unbelieving people become committed followers of Jesus Christ

Christopher Santoro

Student Pastor

Pastor Chris was born and raised in Currituck County. Having felt the call of the Lord to be a minister to his people from his earliest memories, he attended Mid-Atlantic Christian University; and he received an education not only on how to read and interpret the Bible, but how to apply it to his life. He graduated in May of 2018 with a BA in Biblical Exposition and Youth and Family Ministries, with a minor in Counseling.

Chris was called to serve at Coinjock Baptist Church in February 2016 as an intern youth director, after spending the prior year working at summer camps all over the east coast for MACU . He was ordained in February 2018 and became the full-time Youth Minister here at Coinjock.

His views on Ministry are: that scripture should impact believers decisions more than their desires do, because knowing Jesus Christ means to give him authority over every aspect of our lives (Lk 9:23, Gal 2:20). Following these verses produces an attitude of servanthood, forgiveness, and love towards those who the world says are unlovable. His hopes for this ministry is that it would create more unity among believers, even outside of the denomination (Eph 4:2-7), disciple the young believer to live out their faith and develop a more intimate relationship with God (James 2:17, Heb. 10:22), be the conduit that the Holy Spirit enters the life of the unsaved from (Eph 2:8, Matt 28:18-20), but most importantly is one that spreads the good news of Jesus Christ's victory over death at his resurrection and the salvation we may receive because of his conquering of sin (John 3:16-17).

1 John 3:18 “Little Children let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.”
